{"id":512,"date":"2009-10-08T20:13:51","date_gmt":"2009-10-09T00:13:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/noelfigart.com\/blog\/?p=512"},"modified":"2009-10-08T20:13:51","modified_gmt":"2009-10-09T00:13:51","slug":"shepherds-pie-bento","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noelfigart.com\/wordpress\/2009\/10\/08\/shepherds-pie-bento\/","title":{"rendered":"Shepherd&#039;s Pie Bento"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-513\" title=\"Shepherd's Pie Bento\" src=\"http:\/\/noelfigart.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Photo_100809_001-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Shepherd's Pie Bento\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I did an experiment and made some shepherd&#8217;s pies in some muffin tins for bentos. \u00a0While I do love onigiri and all, I think a variety of mini-meals is a good idea. \u00a0Besides, these suckers freeze and building up the bento stash is a Good Thing.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m going to be experimenting in the future with some other meals in muffin tins, since the size is so perfect for bento. \u00a0I&#8217;ve done mini quiches and they&#8217;re wonderful. \u00a0I&#8217;ve seen it suggested one can do mini lasagnas, pot pies or &#8216;most anything else you&#8217;d make in a casserole dish.
